How to buy Office42?
To place your order, you have to access your Office42 account as the portal administrator, then go to Office42 > Settings > License > Select subscription plan. If you don’t have an Office42 account yet, you can create one here.
We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard. If you want to pay through PayPal and wire payments (available only for 6 or 12 month plans), please contact us by email – email@example.com
Are there any discounts for non-profit organizations?
Yes, healthcare, educational and other non-profit organization can get a discount of 15%. To ask for a discount, please send a copy of a request on company letterhead to firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact form. Indicate the service plan desired, the full name of the organization, and a scan of a document which confirms the non-profit status of your organization.
If your request is accepted, we are going to send you a coupon which can be applied to the purchase in the online payment system. Other discounts may not be applied unless specifically stated. Please note that this discount option is available for 6-month and 12-month subscription plans only.

I’m having issues with my Office42 Mobile App
You need to consult with our or Bitrix24’s HelpDesk staff.
When submitting a support ticket, please provide our support staff with as much information as needed to investigate your Mobile App issue(s). Also make sure to mention your mobile device model, and software version (e.g. iOS 7.0.2 or Android 4.3).
How long does the license key for Office42 last?
You can buy licenses for 1, 6, or 12 months. The period will start as soon as the key is activated. You can always prolong your Office42 license on our website.
When to renew my license? What happens if I don’t?
If you want to prolong your Office42 license key for 1, 6 or 12 months, you should do it before your current license would expire. You can always do it on our website.
After the license period have expired, you’ll get a 15 day grace period to work without limitation. If you don’t prolong your license and the 15 day period is over, your Office42 instance will be ‘frozen’, until you renew you license.
What rights to Office42 are granted after purchase?
When you purchase a license, you are going to get non-exclusive rights to use the program according to the terms of the license agreement.

Can Office42 be trusted?
You can know your personal and organizational data in safety with Office42, as our social intranet has 7 levels of security. The data you upload will be located on a cloud server in a datacenter from Amazon. Only users with accounts granted to your Office42 instance have access to it. The login form of Office42 is encrypted to prevent theft even from remote locations.
How safe is my data?
Protection for data is provided at the levels of the operating system, physical access to the server, database, web-server, browser, data transfer and application.
How can I get technical support for Office42?
Technical support is provided by us and by our partner, Bitrix as well, as Office42 is mainly based on BitrixSoft’s social intranet, Bitrix24.
The website of Bitrix24 provides a HelpDesk system for users. This system is a knowledge base where each question is registered, given a unique number, answered by the tech support team and then made available for reference to all users. It is likely that you will find the answer to your question already in the united support system and if not, please create a new question and it will be answered promptly.
What happens to my social intranet if I stop using it?
If your license period is over and you haven’t prolonged your subscription, you’ll get a 15 day grace period. If you still don’t log in and don’t prolong your subscription, after the 15 days your accont will be ‘frozen’.
Why should I use a cloud service?
You don’t have to install anything to use a cloud version of Office42, and all security and maintenance is performed by us. Your social intranet will be ready for use immediately. Content is provided very quickly, as users receive data from the content delivery network of Amazon. Cloud versions also comes with more useful functions than the self-hosted one.
Is Office42 a free service?
Office42 has a free 30 day trial version, so you can try out our social intranet for free. Besides this we have 3 different subscription plans with different pricing. For more information, please visit our ‘Pricing’ page or contact us on the firstname.lastname@example.org email address.
There are no hidden fees for our subscription plans plans, so there will be no changes above your monthly or yearly payments if you decide to order your own social intranet.
The only optional payment for our subscription plans could be made only in case you wanted to extend your online storage for additional 50 GB.
Can I try Office42 before I would buy it?
Yes, if you want to try out the features of Office42, you can download a 30-day trial version. When the trial period is over, you can either switch to one of our subscription plans or just stop using our social intranet if you didn’t like it.
What is SaaS / Cloud service?
Generally, Cloud services deliver you software products (new or existing) without the need to install and maintain them locally on your computer or a web server. In most cases, the Cloud services can be reached from everywhere via the Internet. A simple example of cloud services is Gmail, or Hotmail. You don’t need a software product or a server to use them. All you need is just an internet connection and you can start sending emails to other people.
SaaS means ‘Software as a Service’ and reflects pretty much the same concept as Cloud services. In Cloud computing and SaaS offerings users rent online software instead of actually purchasing and installing it on their own computers.
How much does Office42 cost? What is included in the different subscription plans?

The slef-hosted version allows you to run Office42 on your own server. The other two subscription plans contains a cloud based version of Office42, which means you don’t have to have a server or you don’t have to install anything, as we are going to host your social intranet for you.
You can create unlimited number of users and tasks both in the self-hosted and cloud based versions.
How do I cancel my Office42 account?
If you use the trial version, simply stop using it whenever you want.
If you are a commercial client, contact an Office42 or Bitrix24 representative, and inform them that you no longer wish to use the service and would like to cancel subsequent payments (cancel recurrent payments / auto-billing).
How can I customize my Office42?
Office42 comes with a CMS (content management system), so it’s possible for you to cahnge the colors, the layout, your comany name, company logo, and more. If you ask us, we will gladly help you with these things as well.
How can I check how much more online storage space I have left?
If you have appropriate administrative right, just go to the Company > Settings menu, and you’ll be able to see how much space has already been used and how much more do you have.
Depending on your subscription plan, by default you have 5Gb, 50Gb or 100Gb online storage in your Office42. You can extend your online storage for additional 50Gb for each subscription plan.
Is there a limit on user accounts ?
How do I know how many have already been created ?
All of our subscription plans allow you to create as and manage an unlimited number of user accounts.
If you have appropriate administrative rights, you can see how many user accounts have already been created if you navigate to the Company > Settings menu.
How can I upgrade my Office42 ?
You are able to upgrade from any subscription plan to any subscription plan at any time.
To upgrade your Office42, please select one of the options in your Office42 settings. Provided that you have appropriate administrative rights, you can upgrade or downgrade your Office42, please navigate to the left-side menu > Company > Settings.
Changes will take effect immediately right after your new monthly rate begins at the start of your next billing cycle.
How can I update or change my credit card?
If you want to change your credit card information, please get in touch with us on the firstname.lastname@example.org email address. Please make sure that you inform us in time, so that your subscription payments are not delayed.
What payment options are available?
Can I get an invoice?
In most cases, all major transfer payment options are available, such as online credit card payment, PayPal and wire transfer.
If you want, we can send you and invoice. In this case, please send us a request to the email@example.com address.
What is the refund policy?
We don’t provide refunds for Office42 services. Office42 is a pay-as-you-go service with commercial subscriptions billed every 1, 6, or 12 months. You can cancel the subscription at any time by notifying an Office42 representative, so that you are not charged again, but you are responsible for any charges already incurred.
