Document management in Office42

You can upload your documents to Office42 and share them or even set them as private. You can also flexibly adjust the access rights, if needed. All of your files will securely stay inside the social intranet, but if you want, you can create a special link that will allow outside users, who aren’t the part of Office42 to download the file.

Document Editing via Google Docs

Each employee, workgroup or department has their own file storage where they can upload their documents, photos and other files. Office42 has a lots of tools for working with documents, like network drive mapping and your own secure Dropbox-like desktop application, capable of automatically synchronizing files on your PC or Mac with the files stored in your Office42 corporate portal and the other way around. Office42 tracks version history of files so it’s possible to restore them anytime.

In-place document editing and real-time collaboration is available through integration with Google Docs, MS Office Web Apps and MS Office products, including Office 365. You can also work with documents in Office42 without having Microsoft Office suit installed through Google Docs, OpenOffice or LibreOffice integrations.
